The Dansk Kitchen & Table Essentials You’ll Find in Our Homes

If you're unfamiliar with Dansk—the Danish design brand that was founded in 1954 and has been part of the Food52 family for a while now—we'll bring you up to speed. From 1954 until the early 1980s, Dansk's designs were created by the Danish sculptor and designer, Jens Quistgaard. Pieces under the Dansk name are known for their iconic mid-century aesthetic and bright, bold color palettes. They're multi-functional (the lid of the Købenstyle saucepan, for example, doubles as a trivet), durable enough to last decades, and are uniquely beautiful wares you'll want to have out on display. We might be a little biased, but here at Food52, we're big fans of Dansk's cookware, baking dishes, and serving accessories.
